Project: Georgia State Capitol
Restoration
July 2004
Letter to Russell Browning
Owner, Shenandoah Restorations
Dear Russell,
I am happy to have the opportunity to express what a pleasure it has
been working with Shenandoah Restorations, Inc. over that past 7 years
on the restoration of the Georgia State Capitol. Throughout
multiple phases of work, your company has consistently delivered high
quality service and an excellent product. Both you and Todd
Selke have been extremely helpful to the design team, as we have
strategize to determine the best methods to restore, repair and
thermally upgrade the Capitol's historic windows. Once the
design was complete, you provided competitive pricing and worked hard
to deliver your product on time and in budget. You were always
helpful and reasonable when the inevitable unforeseen conditions
arose. In total, approximately 300 windows were restored and the
monumentally scaled windows in the rotunda were carefully reproduced.
All this was achieved with no significant problems. I sincerely
believe that Shenandoah Restorations was instrumental in the
successful restoration of the windows in this most important
structure.
Sincerely,

Project: The First
Presbyterian Church
August 2003
Letter to Russell Browning
Owner, Shenandoah Restorations
Dear Buddy,
I think of you often as I attend services in the different buildings
on our church campus where the stained glass windows which Shenandoah
so beautifully and meticulously restored are located, and I wanted to
tell you again what a wonderful job you and your personnel did for us.
It must be nice to work in a field such as yours where your work is
viewed by so many people for so many years into the future - many
artists who paint on canvas or other media must be envious of the
exposure your firm's products get.
We truly appreciate the dedication
you and your men gave to our church, and we trust God will continue to
bless you in your work.
Sincerely,
Barbara C. Shealy
